Trout in the Classroom (TIC)

Picture
Trout in the Classroom (TIC) is a program designed to expose students to the life cycle of trout, importance of cold water conservation, and the impact people can have on the environment. In this an aquarium will be set up and maintained to incubate, watch, and raise trout eggs. Students are responsible for tank maintenance, observation of eggs, and data.

This program will culminate in a field trip where the students will release the trout into a state-approved body of water.

*This program was also funded in part by the Forks of the Delaware Chapter of Trout Unlimited, by a Grant from the PA Council of Trout Unlimited and  by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission Sportfishing and Aquatic Resource Education Grant*
